4.4 Unpacking the PxtRX active energy management device

Carefully remove the PxtRX active energy management device from its packaging.

Check that nothing is missing and that it is undamaged.

Dispose of the packaging in accordance with local regulations for cardboard boxes
and recyclable materials.
4.5 Installing the PxtRX active energy management device
Basic information • The PxtRX active energy management device is intended to be installed in an
electrical cabinet.
• The PxtRX active energy management device must be protected against
penetration of foreign bodies in the cabinet.
• The unit is installed directly on a mounting surface in the control cabinet.
Distances During installation, the following distance to other modules must be maintained:
• Above and below: at least 100 mm.
• Sufficient fresh air supply from below must be available.
• Air circulation in the free space must be ensured.
Installation location • PxtRX devices with power module(s) may only be mounted vertically.
Risk of damage!
Assembly upside down is prohibited!
