INSTALLATION
• This product must be installed in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and current
Building Regulations. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician
• Please isolate mains prior to installation or maintenance
• Check the total load on the circuit (including when this accessory is fitted) does not exceed the rating of the circuit cable,
fuse or circuit breaker
• Please note the IP (Ingress Protection) rating of this product when deciding the location for installation
• Allow 50mm above and around the product for air dissipation (do not cover with insulation)
• Do not overload this accessory or subject it to conditions outside its rating
• This product is Class II double insulated
• This product is IP20 rated
Note
- this product is specifically manufactured to convert the Knightsbridge LED Downlights VFRCOBxx, VFR8xxx and
VFRIC8xx to 3-hour emergency fittings. No guarantee can be given that it is compatible with any other manufacturer’s
fittings. To use with the VFRIC8xx range, an additional pair of connector leads ICEMC is required.

Cut a suitable hole in the mounting surface as per the cut-out details of the downlight to be used,
ensuring not to infringe with any joists, gas/ water pipes or electrical cables. This emergency kit
requires a minimum 60mm cut-out

Wire the Permanent Live and Neutral to the VFR7EM Emergency Kit (see Fig. 1)
