Designated use
The pump is exclusively intended for
transferring liquids and gases.
Only install and operate the pump under
the operating parameters and conditions
described in the operating manual
Before using a medium, check
whether the medium can be transferred
danger-free in the specific application case.
Before using a medium, check the
compatibility of the materials of the pump
head, structured diaphragm and valves with
the medium
.
Only transfer liquids and gases which
remain stable under the pressures and
temperatures occurring in the pump.
Laboratory equipment or additional
components connected to a pump have to
be suitable for use with the pneumatic
capabilities of the pump (see type plate).
Observe the accident prevention and
safety regulations
.
Make sure that only trained and
instructed personnel use the pump.
Non designated use
Caution
The pump may not be
operated in an explosive
atmosphere.

Checking if this pump can
be used for the medical or
food industry lies in the
responsibility of the users.
Operation
Caution
Before switching the pump
on please observe the
following points:
All hoses are properly attached
Specifications of the power
supply correspond with the data on the
pump’s type plate.
The pump outlet is not closed or con-
stricted.
Do not exceed max. permissible
operating pressure (see type plate).
Make sure the temperature of the
medium is always sufficiently
below the ignition temperature of
the medium, to avoid ignition or
explosion. This also applies for unusual
operational situations.
Taking the pump out of
service
Ensure the pump is stopped,
open pressure and suction lines to normal
atmospheric pressure.
When transferring aggressive media,
flush the pump out.

1. Connect tubing
1. Ensure that the end of the tubing is
cleanly cut
2. Place the compression ring and
then the clamp ring over the tubing
3. Push the tubing firmly over the
fitting
4. Secure the compression ring –
hand tight
