8.8.1 Axial runout

“F6 Reset”: The “Reset” button can be
used to reset the axial runout. If axial
runout measurement is enabled, the axial
runout is determined afresh at the next
start of serration. Otherwise, the deter-
mined axial runout is used until a new
product file is loaded.

8.9 Knife selection
The “Open” dialog box (8-25) from Windows ap-
pears. The folder “C:\Product” is displayed auto-
matically. The grinding programs for the individual
knives are filed in this folder. The grinding pro-
grams have the ending “.dat” in the file name.
To load a grinding program, proceed as follows:
Select the desired grinding program. The name of
the selected grinding program appears in the “File
Name” column. The grinding program is loaded
with one click on the “Open” button.
The “Open” dialog box is closed and the selected
grinding program is displayed in the main menu.
