5.7.2 Running a Link

1.
Select the Device Links menu .
2.
Navigate through the main screen using the
horizontal arrow keys
to get to the pro-
gram/link screen .
3.
Move the cursor to the area to the “P” and
press the vertical arrow key to switch to “L”
(Link) mode .
4.
Move the cursor to the position right next to
the “L” and select the desired link number via
confirmation key
and numeric keypad or via
vertical arrow keys
.
5.
After confirming the selected link number via
the confirmation key
, the detector status will
switch to hold (“H”) .
6.
Navigate the cursor to the “H” (hold) position
and start running the link via the upward ar-
row key
. The detector status will switch to
“R” (run) mode .
7.
The link will start running the programs line by
line .
8.
Use the downward arrow key
with the cur-
sor on the detector status to pause the execut-
ion of the link . Status switches to “H” (Hold) . If
the detector is waiting for an event (W1 option
selected in the respective link line) it will also
enter the hold state .
9.
To resume the run, press the upward arrow key
. Status will switch to “R” (Run) .
10.
After the link has been completed, the status
will switch to “E” (End) . Navigate the cursor to
the link status and press the upward key
to
return to hold and run mode .
11.
Use the downward key
to clear the status .
