4.4 Changing the setup to LPG
The low-pressure gradient valve block (LPG valve block) supplements the
pump to a low-pressure gradient system.
4.4.1 Valve block types
Ternary LPG valve block for flow rates in the range of 2 – 220 ml/min
Binary LPG valve block for flow rates in the range of 5 – 800 ml/min

4.4.2 Connecting the LPG module
Note:
Always place seals in pairs on both fastening screws.

In the Setup menu, select
Gradient type LPG ternary
or otherwise LPG binary.
2.
Switch off the pump and
pull the power plug.
3.
Unscrew the eluent inlets
from the inlet screw fittings

of the pump head

Screw tight LPG valve block

with the fastening screws

and seals to the pump
head.
5.
Connect the eluent tubing
to the inlets of the LPG
valve block.
6.
Plug a cap fitting into the
unused inlet.
