Pump head repair
Removing and
inspecting the piston
1. Deposit the pump head onto a soft surface.
2. Remove the piston rod by hand, making sure it does not tilt
and is pulled out straight.
3. Deposit the piston rod in the correct orientation.
4. Check both piston rods for visual wear tracks.

1. Flush the pump head
with water or isopro-
panol if the pump
head is to be stored.
2. Remove the pump
head (see manual).
3. Remove and inspect
the piston rods (A) of
the removed pump
head, e.g. for wear
tracks.
4. Unscrew the piston
guide (B).
5. Put the individual
parts of the piston
guide back onto the
piston in the correct
orientation to make
the subsequent
assembly easier.
6. Remove flushing
block (C).

using Allen wrench
“size 4” while pres-
sing down on piston
guide (B) to protect
against pressure.
3. Remove piston guide
from the pump head
and lay it to the side.
