Valve Types
Generally, valves can be operated manually through a lever or electrically
through the valve drive. Valves are available as 2-position valves or multiposition
valves
Ports and channels are described by abbreviations to enable the identification of
a specific valve. Example: 6P/3C = 2-position valve with 6 ports and 3 channels.
In case of the multiposition valves, the input/output port is not counted.
Valves are available in stainless steel or PEEK and with 1/8¨ or 1/16¨ connectors.
2-Position Valves
2-position valves are used for injection, column switching, or column backflush-
ing. In case of the 2-position valves, the rotary motions of the electrical valve are
limited to 2 positions with a rotation angle of 60°.
You control 2-position valves either manually through a lever or electrically
through the valve drive.
