Attaching capillaries to the pump head
Pay attention to the torques in the chapter „8.4 Check valves“ on page
57.
The pump head has been removed.
Open-end wrench, sizes 10, 17
Note:
PEEK fittings can withstand pressures up to 400 bar for 1/16“ and
200 bar for 1/8“.

Slide the fitting

onto the
capillary

Slide the clamping ring

onto
the capillary, so the capillary
comes out.

Screw fitting

Using an open-end wrench,
hold the inlet fitting

in place.

Tighten the fitting

at the
pump head.
5.
If the capillary cannot be
screwed tight, then use a new
clamping ring.

Note the torque of the screw connection.
