Switch on the pump at the 

power switch

Wait until the pump has com-

pleted the self-test.

If the self-test has been suc-

cessfully completed, the LED 

on the right lights up green.

Power switch

The pump is now ready for operation. If the test fails, an error message 

will be displayed. Contact the Technical Support of the manufacturer if 

the error occurs several times.
Forestall pressure fluctuations by letting the pump run for 1 hour.

5.4 

Software control

There are several options for controlling the device:

with chromatography software

 

ƒ

with KNAUER Mobile Control

Note: 

It is not possible to use two control methods simultaneously. If the 

device is connected to the software, it cannot be controlled via Mobile 

Control.

5.4.1 

Controlling with chromatography software

To operate the device with software, you have to establish a connection 

between the LAN port and a computer. Devices can be controlled with 

e. g. OpenLAB EZChrom edition version A.04.05 or higher, ChromGate 

version 3.3.2 or higher and ClarityChrom version 3.0.7 or higher. 
You find a detailed description on chromatography software in the corre-

sponding instructions.

5.4.2 

Controlling with Mobile Control

The Mobile Control is a software which can be installed on your compu-

ter or tablet. To control the device using the Mobile Control, connect the 

com puter or tablet with operating system Windows 10 to a wireless LAN 

router. The firmware version of the pump must be V01.09 or higher. You 

find a detailed description in the Mobile Control Instructions (V6851-2).
