Mains Connection 

NOTICE

 

Use only the supplied mains cable or a replacement cable by Gebrüder Martin with the laser 
system! 

 

 

•

 

Plug mains cable into mains connection socket (1, Fig. 5-1). 
The supply parameters are 220 –240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, max. 4 A. 

•

 

Fuse the earthed mains connection socket for at least 6 A. 

•

 

The supplied mains cable is a 3-wire cable (including protective ground wire). 

 

NOTICE

 

Do not use splitting boxes or extension cords!

 

 

 

5.5.3

 

Equipotential Grounding Pin 

 

The device can be connected to the potential equalization 
system in the operating theater at the equipotential 
grounding pin (5, Fig. 5-1) via the potential equalization 
cable. 

5.5.4

 

Mains Fuses 

NOTICE

 

Fuses could be only replaced by service technicians of Gebrüder Martin or authorized service 
partners. 

 

 

After opening the cover (2, Fig. 5-1) you will have access to 2 micro-fuses whose electrical 
parameters are printed on the retainer (T 4 AH, 250 V, slow-blow). 
If current consumption is too high in the laser circuit, fuses protect the system.
