Using the flat head screw provided, position the strike plate flush with the edge of shutter rail and tight against the stile. Make
sure the head of the screw is flush with or below the surface of the strike plate.

Mount magnets to the top and bottom of the hang strip frame.

Position the magnet base so that the edge of the magnet is aligned with your pencil
mark, on the hinge side of the mark.

Attach the magnets using the pan head screws provided. Place the screw in the center
of the slot to allow the magnet to move if adjustment is required.

A third magnet may be needed at the center of the panel.
5.
Perform any necessary finish work to complete the installation (see page 24).

After the two frames are assembled, attach them together. Use a hang strip to join the corner L-frames.

Attach the corner L-frame of the right frame to the hang strip as you did in Step 1 for the left frame.

Butt the corner L-frame for the right opening to the L-frame of the left opening.

For Z/L frame combinations, file the profile of the Z-frame edge where the Z-frames meet on the top and bottom to ensure
a tight fit of the L-frames.
