Speed Information
Starting
1. Depress the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch.
2. Shift levers to the desired speed position.
3. Release the parking brake.
4. Speed up the engine by moving the throttle lever
forward.
5. Slowly release the clutch pedal.
•
Interlock the right and left brake pedals
before starting. Uneven braking results in
a sharp turn, which may even turn over the
tractor.
•
Do not allow any person other than the
driver to ride on the tractor.
•
Do not drive the tractor close to the edges
of ditches or banks with may break under
the weight of the tractor, especially when
the ground is loose or wet.
•
Slow the tractor down to a safe speed be-
fore turning.
•
Do not drive the tractor on the road with
the implement in motion.
•
After the differential lock has been used,
be sure to see that it has been released.
•
When traveling on a road, attach the SMV
emblem to the tractor where it is required
to identify itself to be a low speed vehicle.
WARNING
IMPORTANT :
•
Do not move the tractor with the parking brake on.
•
To avoid premature wear, do not use the clutch pedal
as a foot rest.
•
Hi-Low shift levers cannot be shifted while the trac-
tor is moving. And main gear shift lower can be
shifted by depressing and selecting speed.
•
When descending steep slopes, engage the gear
and descent with the clutch engage.
•
Always be sure to interlock two brake pedals when
operating the tractor on roads.
