PUCHASER ASSUMES ALL RISK IN THE ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION OF THIS PUMP. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE

WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS CAN RESULT IN SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

1. This pump is designed to easily transfer cooking oil from the cooking container to the storage

container and filter out only large particles. This pump does not purify the cooking oil or protect

against contamination. For proper storage instructions and information on cooking oil, refer to the

cooking oil manufacturer’s recommendations.

2. Only use this pump on cooking oil or water. Do not use to pump any other liquid.

3. Cooking oil or water must be cooled to room temperature (below 100° F (38° C)) before inserting

the pump into the liquid or liquid is pumped. Keep pump away from heat and flame.

4. Do not run the pump “dry”, never run the pump when it is not submerged in cooking oil or water.

5. Do not turn pump upside down after use, or allow the battery compartment to get wet at any time.

Remove the batteries when not in use.

6. The pump and its components are NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Never wash the pump or its components

in a dishwasher.

7. Always keep the handle end, above the clear pumping tube, out of the cooking oil or water.

8. Never operate this pump if it is not working properly, especially if it has been dropped, damaged,

or submerged past the clear pumping tube in cooking oil or water.

9. This pump should never be left unattended when in use.

10. Use this pump only for its intended use of pumping cooking oil or water as described in this

instruction sheet.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Insert the clear flexible outlet tube onto the outlet fitting just below

the pump handle. Secure the outlet tube onto the outlet fitting by

attaching the locking collar (with the tab facing down) onto the outlet

fitting as shown in figure 1. This will secure the clear outlet tube onto

the pump.

2. Snap together the filter cap onto the filter housing. Slide the filter

housing onto the end of the pumping tube until it stops.

3. Remove the battery housing cover by sliding it off the top of the

pump. Follow the diagram on the pump for installing the four “D” size

alkaline batteries (not included) in the pump’s battery housing. Only use

alkaline batteries. Once installed, replace the battery housing cover by

sliding it back onto the pump.

4. Immerse the filter housing into the room temperature cooking oil so

the filter housing is totally covered by the cooking oil. Do not submerge

the pump beyond the clear pumping tube.

5. Wait for the bubbling to stop in the clear pumping tube before

starting the pump. This usually takes approximately 3 to 5 seconds.

Doing this helps prevent an airlock in the pump.

6. Insert the flexible clear outlet tube into the oil container that will

receive the cooking oil. The pot/container holding the cooking oil should

be higher than the container into which the cooking oil will be

transfered to. See the placement diagram.

7. Turn the pump “on” by flipping the switch under the handle.

8. Pump as much of the cooking oil out of the pot/container until the

pump stops pumping. Turn the pump “off” by flipping the switch under

the handle.
