Description
The SK08A is designed for use with KSA700/KFP-A series
analogue addressable panels. The siren is loop-powered and
requires no auxiliary power supply. It is designed for indoor use
only.
Installation
Caution: For general guidelines on system planning, design,
installation, commissioning, use and maintenance, refer to the
EN 54:14 standard and local regulations.
Electrical connections
Remove the siren cover as shown in Figure 1. Fix the siren
base to the wall using the holes provided. Ensure the siren is
placed so that it may be heard throughout the zone. Due to the
high acoustic level it is recommended that the siren be placed
so as to avoid ear injuries.
Connect the siren to the loop as shown in Figure 2. Polarity
must be observed.
Once electrical connections are completed snap the siren onto
the base and rotate to lock.
Always verify large installations using a loop load calculator to
confirm that enough power is available on the loop.
