Preparation | Preparing for Connecting a DUT
Constructing output cable

Select the appropriate output cable.
Considering the current capacity, we recommend using cables with a cross-sectional area larger
than the nominal value of 5.5 mm
2

Attach the terminal (pin) to this product end of the output cable and connect it to
the DUT connector.

If necessary, attach a compatible crimping terminal to the DUT end of the output
cable.

CAUTION
If the DUT will be subject to high temperature, such as by placing it in a temperature
chamber, pay attention to the allowable temperature of the output cable. If the heat
resistance of the output cable and the like is insufficient, the DUT will be in a dangerous
situation due to poor insulation, increased contact resistance, and so on.
• You can extend the cable length up to 5 m. If the cable is longer than 5 m, constant current
control may become unstable and accurate capacity measurement may be compromised.
• To prevent incorrect wiring, use different color crimping terminals or cables to make the
polarities easily distinguishable.
