7 Repairs
7 Repairs
You can send faulty pull-rope emergency stop switches
to the manufacturer, Vossloh Kiepe GmbH, for repair
(see the Imprint for the company's address) .
7.1 Tools required
Standard workshop equipment is adequate for working
on the pull-rope emergency stop switch. At the very least
you will require the following tools for repairs:

Set of screwdrivers (slot / Phillips)
•
Open-end wrench for screw connection M25
•
Suitable torque wrench (Section 4.2: „Electrical con-
nection“, page 24 and Section 4.3: „Tightening
torques“, page 26)
7.2 Replacing the cover
To replace cover ( 4 ), proceed as follows (see Fig. 7-1) :
1. Before starting work, isolate the system from the
power supply. Secure the system from being
switched on again. Cover any adjacent, live parts so
that they cannot be touched.
