6 Maintenance
3. Remove any dirt (e. g. dust, soot, sand) that could
block up trigger lever mechanism (

) and reset lever
(

). Observe the following cleaning instructions:
–
Clean the pull-rope emergency stop switch by
hand using a hand brush or cloth.
–
Do not use any cleaning agents that contain sol-
vents.
–
Do not use any knives or sharp-edged tools.
4. Carry out a function test

5. Mount the pull-rope on trigger lever (

). When the
pull-rope has been mounted, trigger lever (
1
) must
be in a vertical position. Observe the instructions in
the documentation on the pull-rope system.

Removing ice from the outside
To remove ice proceed as follows:
1. Before starting work, isolate the system from the
power supply. Secure the system from being
switched on again. Cover any adjacent, live parts so
that they cannot be touched.
Beware!
The surfaces of the device and the seals must not be
damaged by the cleaning process.
Do not use any cleaning agents which contain solvents.
Do not use any knives or sharp-edged tools.

Risk of death from electrical shock!
Only an electrician may work on the device.
Before starting work, isolate the system from the power
supply. Secure the system from being switched on
again. Cover any adjacent, live parts so that they can-
not be touched.
Warning - risk of injuries when the release
line is disconnected!
The release line is under spring tension. Carefully dis-
connect the release line from the release lever so that
the release line cannot spring back uncontrollably. Ob-
serve the documentation for the release line system.
