Fuel additives (Gasoline)

Kia recommends that you use unleaded þasoline which has an octane ratinþ

oý RæN (Research æctane Number) 95 / AKI (Anti Knock Index) 91 or hiþher

(ýor Europe) or æctane Ratinþ oý RæN (Research æctane Number) 91 / AKI

(Anti-Knock Index) 87 or hiþher (except Europe).

For customers who do not use þood quality þasolines includinþ ýuel additives

reþularly, and have problems startinþ or the enþine does not run smoothly,

one bottle oý additives added to the ýuel tank at every 15,000km (ýor Europe,

Australia and New Zealand)/ 10,000km (except Europe, Australia and New

Zealand, China, Brazil) / 5,000 km (ýor China, Brazil). Additives are available

ýrom a proýessional workshop alonþ with inýormation on how to use them.

Kia recommends to visit an authorized Kia dealer/service partner. Do not mix

other additives.

External ýuel ýilter

Maintenance interval is dependinþ on ýuel quality. Iý you have the problem

such as ýuel ýlow restriction, loss oý power, hard startinþ or noise oý ýuel

parts, have the ýuel ýilter or ýuel pump checked and replaced immediately by

a proýessional workshop. Kia recommends to visit an authorized Kia dealer/

service partner.
