Driving your vehicle

Smart regeneration system (If equipped with

     

smart cruise control)  

- The ESC (Electronic Stability 

Control) or ABS is operating.

WARNING

When the Smart Regeneration Sys

-

tem is cancelled automatically, 
adjust the vehicle speed directly by 
depressing the accelerator or brake 
pedal according to the road and 
driving conditions ahead.

Resuming Smart Regeneration 
System

To re-activate the Smart Regenera

-

tion System while driving:
䳜 Pull and hold the right side paddle 

shifter for more than 1 second 
again. Then, AUTO for the regen

-

erative braking level will appear on 
the cluster.

Turning Smart Regeneration sys

-

tem off

To turn off the system:
䳜 Shift to P (Park) and deselect 

'User Settings → Convenience →
Smart Regeneration' on the User 
Settings mode.

Vehicle-to-Vehicle Distance Recog

-

nition Sensor (Front Radar)

In order for the Smart Regeneration 
System to operate properly, always 
make sure the radar sensor cover is 
clean and free of dirt, snow, and 
debris.

Dirt, snow, or foreign substances on 
the lens may adversely affect the 
sensing performance of the sensor.
