U3606A Programmer’s Reference

CALCulate:DB:REFerence

Syntax

CALCulate:DB:REFerence <value>

This command stores a reference value in the dB reference register of the
instrument, which is used for the dB function in the

CALCulate:FUNCtion

command.

CALCulate:DB:REFerence?

This query returns a numeric value that represents the dB reference
value.

Parameter

Remarks

The instrument clears the dB reference value to the default after a
Factory Reset (

*RST

command), an Instrument Preset (

SYSTem:PRESet

command), or after a math or measurement function change.

N O T E

You must select the dB math function (

CALCulate:FUNCtion DB

) and

turn on math operations (

CALCulate:STATe ON

) before writing to the

dB reference register.
