Integrator: square wave to triangle wave conversion

The integrating circuit in

on page 124 produces an output voltage

that is proportional to the integral of the input voltage.
One of the many uses of this integrator is to convert a square wave into a triangle

wave.

Turn the rotary switch to the

position.

Connect the red and black alligator leads to the positive and negative output

terminals respectively.

Connect the operational amplifier as shown in

Figure 5-15

on page 124.

Use a DC power supply with

15 V and –15 V outputs to power the operational

amplifier.

Use an oscilloscope to monitor the output waveform.
