Keysight M8121A Arbitrary Waveform Generator User Guide

Introduction

DAC Format Modes

Each channel internally uses two DACs (A & B). Each DAC usually

contributes to the signal 50% of a sample period.

The following three DAC format modes are available:
• NRZ (Non Return to Zero)
• DNRZ, (Double NRZ)
• Doublet

For more details on the DAC format modes, refer to the section “Dual-Core

DAC Architectures” in the Fundamentals of Arbitrary Waveform Generation

Reference Guide (Manual Part No. M8190-91050).
