To verify dual cursor accuracy
This test verifies the dual cursor accuracy for each analog channel.
This test is similar to the test for verifying the DC vertical gain, except you will
measure the dc voltage output of an oscilloscope calibrator using dual cursors on
the oscilloscope and compare the results with the multimeter reading.
Dual cursor accuracy test limits: ±[DC vertical gain ac 0.5% full scale]

[Save/Recall] > Default/Erase > Factory Default
to recall the factory default
setup.

If you are testing a 2000 X-Series oscilloscope, set the probe attenuation to 1:1
on the analog channel you are testing (for example,
[1] > Probe > Probe

turn the
Entry knob to select
1.00 : 1
).
