Fixed Range Registration
This registration is only applicable for the fixed range license option. E8718A only
runs simulation with the registered fixed range values. For example, 3 fixed range
licenses allow you to register any 3 fixed range values within the 4 m to 300 m
range. If you did not configure the fixed range value, the Fixed Range Registration
table will appear as shown in Figure 3-6 . Once you have configured all the fixed
range values, the Add button will disappear.
Follow the steps below to register the fixed range values:
1 On SFP "Installing License…" dialog box, enter the fixed range values.
2 Click the Add button to register the fixed range values of E8718A.
3 Complete the several confirmation steps that appears when you click the Add
button. Upon successful registration, the Add button will be disabled. You are
not allowed to change the registered fixed range value upon successful
registration.
4 Repeat step 2 to step 4 to register the remaining fixed range values.
WARNING
Fixed range values cannot be changed upon successful registration.
