Specifying the Operation Mode (E36312A and E36313A Only)
DO NOT use Coupling mode and Tracking mode when Auto-Series or Auto-Parallel mode is selected.
The Operation Mode allows you to specify the output capability when two independent outputs are being used.
– Independant: This operation supply two independent outputs capability to a maximum rating of +25 V, 1 A
(E36312A ) and +25 V, 2 A (E36313A). In Independent mode, the instrument is at its default output state.
– Auto-Series: This operation increase the output voltage capability to a maximum rating of +50 V, 1 A (E36312A)
and +50 V, 2 A (E36313A). In Auto-Series mode, the instrument doubles the voltage across Output 2 and Output 3,
but Output 3 no longer operates. .
– Auto-Parallel: This operation increase the current capability to a maximum rating of +25 V, 2 A (E36312A) and +25
V, 4 A (E36313A). In Auto-Parallel mode, the instrument doubles the output current on Output 2, but Output 3 no
longer operates.
– Tracking: This operation tracks the voltage for Output 2 and Output 3. See Using the Tracking Operation for
details.

3. Press Back to exit.
