Getting Started with the Logic Analyzer 2
Using a Long Press of the Power Button
Pressing the power button for more than 4 seconds will place the system
in a standby state abruptly:
• Programs that are running will not be properly shut down. Any data that
has not been written to the disk will be lost.
• The power supply will be turned off except for the motherboard standby
power.
• If the system is unplugged while it is off and then plugged back in, the
system will not power on until the power button is pressed
Unplugging the Power Cord or Power Loss
The main power cord is to be used as the system disconnecting device.It
disconnects the mains circuit from the mains supply. When the system is
plugged back in, it will power up and boot into Windows.
CAUTION
Only use a long press of the power button when the logic analyzer is unresponsive to
Windows Shutdown or a short press of the power button.
CAUTION
Only unplug the power cord when the logic analyzer is unresponsive to all other methods
for powering off the system.
NOTE
Position the logic analyzer such that it is not difficult to unplug the main power cord.
