N5222A and N5242A RF Interface Cable Connections
(U3021-60077)

Figure 16 on page 23

illustrates the cable configuration of the Test Set to the

analyzer. The cables have been supplied with the kit (U3021-60077).

Cable Connection Procedure

Remove the SOURCE OUT to CPLR THRU and RCVR IN to CPLR ARM

jumpers (x8) on the analyzer. The RCVR R1 - R4 to SOURCE OUT reference

loop jumpers (x4) remain on the front panel.

Connect the RF interconnect cables from the PNA or PNA-X to the test set

in the order listed. As you are connecting each cable, torque to 8 in-lb. The

longer, straight end of each cable is connected to the test set. Refer to

Table 7

and

Figure 16 on page 23

Over torque will cause damage to the test set and may cause connectors to

spin or become loose.
