Example 2
Test Set Port 7, Test Set Port 14
In the PNA standalone mode there are limitations due to the architecture of the test sets
switching matrix and PNA. PNA Port 1, and Test Set Ports 3 through 14, all share the same
source and receiver. S-Parameter measurements cannot be made. Individual ports can source
and receive signals, but not simultaneously. This example shows how to source (Tx) and
receive (Rx).
Source (Tx) at Test Port 7 and Receive (Rx) at Test Set Port 14
Port 7 (Tx)

Port 14 (Rx):

Reverse State Receive (Rx) at Test Port 7 and Source (Tx) at Test Set Port 14

Address and Data Values
"Source (Tx) & Receiver (Rx) Port Selections"
for
the needed Address.Data entries:
32.1
0.0
16.96
32.32
Since these two ports share a common address, we have to sum their
data values to get our final entry: 0.5 16.96 32.33
"Source (Tx) & Receiver (Rx) Port Selections"
for
the needed Address.Data entries:
Port 7 (Tx)
0.80
16.0
Port 14 (Rx):
32.32
0.0
16.6
32.2
Again, ports that share a common address will get their data values
summed for our final entry: 0.80 16.6 32.34
