Baseband Noise with Test Set Measurement Example

This measurement example will help you measure the noise voltage of a 

source.

Define Measurement

At the top of the main application window, click "Define" and then select 

"Measurement…" from the drop-down menu.

Connect a noise source to the test set using one of the configurations as shown 

in 

Figure 13-1

Yes

To ensure accurate measurements allow the DUT and measurement equipment to warm up at 

least 30 minutes before making the noise measurement. 

Ensure there is no DC present in the signal at the inputs to the test set to prevent damage to the 

test set.
