Keysight InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series Oscilloscopes User's Guide

Web Interface

The SCPI Command window is useful for testing commands or entering a few

commands interactively. When creating automated programs for controlling the

oscilloscope, you will typically use the Keysight IO Libraries from within a

programming environment like Microsoft Visual Studio (see

“Remote

Programming with Keysight IO Libraries"

on page 274).

Real Scope Remote Front Panel

To operate the oscilloscope using the web interface's Real Scope Remote Front

Panel:

Access the oscilloscope's web interface (see

“Accessing the Web Interface"

page 268).

When the oscilloscope's web interface is displayed, select

Browser Web Control

then select

Real Scope Remote Front Panel

. After a few seconds the Remote Front

Panel appears.

Click keys or knobs that you would normally press on the oscilloscope's front

panel. Drag on edges of knobs to turn them.

NOTE

If Java is not installed on your PC, you will be prompted to install the Sun Microsystems Java

Plug-in. This plug-in must be installed on the controlling PC for the web interface's Remote

Front Panel or Remote Programming operations.
