Operation Restrictions While OTAR Is Active
While OTAR is processing, some functions are restricted in order to prioritize OTAR processing.
PF keys and PTT switches
If the
PTT
switch or the
PF
key to which the following functions are assigned is operated while OTAR is processing, a Key-
entry Error Tone (1 beep) sounds from the transceiver, and then “Rekeying” appears on the display for 1 sec. The operated
function is disabled and the transceiver restores the normal display.
