FROM TRANSPORT MODE TO EXCAVATION MODE
1. Keep the backhoe digger’s ball coupling on the towing vehicle.
2. Remove the transport locking devices and store them in a safe place.
3. Start the engine on the backhoe digger according to the instructions in the engine manual.
4. Lift the bucket and move it to the left-hand as far as it will go.
5. Press the bucket down on the ground so that the side wheels are raised approx. 10-15 cm into the air.
6. Remove the arm of the raised wheel by removing the pin. NOTE: This wheel should be on
the right-hand side.
7. Fit the support arm in the bracket on the left-hand side, where the wheel was previously.
8. Lift the bucket and swing it over to the right-hand side as far as it will go.
9. Press the bucket down on the ground so that the wheel on the right-hand side is raised approx.
10-15 cm into the air.
10. Fit the wheel arm removed from the left-hand side in the rear bracket, secure using a pin.
11. Remove the raised wheel’s arm by removing the pin.
NOTE! This wheel should be on the left-hand side.
12. Fit the right support arm from its transport bracket, secure with a pin.
13. Raise the bucket and move it back to the left-hand side as far as it will go.
14. Fit the wheel arm removed from the right-hand side in the rear bracket on the left-hand side,
secure with a pin.
15. Raise the bucket arm and position it straight forward between the support arms with the bucket
slightly raised.
The support arms and wheels should now be resting on the ground.
13. Switch off the backhoe digger’s engine and disconnect the backhoe digger from the towing vehicle.
The bucket should be moved as far forward as possible to relieve the ball coupling as much as possible.
NOTE: A jack or similar device can be helpful here.
14. The digger is now ready for excavation work.
NOTE: Read the enclosed Operator’s Manual for the backhoe digger carefully before starting excavation
work, and operate all functions so that you know what happens when the various lever functions
are activated.
FROM EXCAVATION MODE TO TRANSPORT MODE
To adjust the backhoe digger from excavation mode to transport mode, repeat the above steps
in reverse order.
