U heeft met de Kelfort® gehoorbeschermer een kwaliteitsproduct in handen,
welke getest en goedgekeurd is volgens de Europese Standaard EN352-1:2002.
Gebruik:
Trek de kappen uit elkaar als aangegeven op afbeelding 1 en 2. Plaats de
gehoorbeschermers over de oren, zodanig dat de kussens de oren geheel omsluiten.
Verstel de hoogte van beide kappen terwijl u de hoofdband omlaag drukt, zodat deze
goed aansluiten op het hoofd en comfortabel zitten (afbeelding 3). Zorg ervoor dat
de beugel over het midden van het hoofd geplaatst is en daarbij ook aansluit op het
hoofd (afbeelding 4).
Belangrijk: Zorg ervoor dat u uw haren zoveel mogelijk opzij doet, zodat de kussens
goed aansluiten op het hoofd.
Onderhoud:
Onderhoud van uw gehoorbeschermer is zeer belangrijk; slecht on-
derhoud kan de levensduur negatief beïnvloeden. Gebruik voor het schoonmaken en
desinfecteren van de buitenkant van uw gehoorbeschermer uitsluitend lauwwarm
water met zeep en een zachte doek. De kussens kunt u met een licht vochtige doek
schoonmaken, het schuim aan de binnenkant niet. Controleer de gehoorbeschermer
regelmatig op beschadigingen. Bij ernstige beschadigingen aan de beugel of kap-
pen, dient u het product te vervangen. De kussens en het schuim kunnen na verloop
van tijd in kwaliteit achteruit gaan. Het is daarom aan te bevelen om deze onderde-
len iedere 6 maanden te vervangen.
Ontsmetting:
Gebruik voor ontsmetting een 70% oplossing van propylalcohol in
water om de gehoorbeschermer af te nemen. Goed laten drogen.
Hygiëneset:
Wanneer u de set vervangt, is het aan te bevelen om de binnenzijde
van de kap goed te reinigen met lauwwarm water, zeep en een zachte doek. Vervol-
gens de binnenzijde goed droog maken alvorens de set te monteren.
Bewaren:
Wanneer u de gehoorbeschermer niet gebruikt, bewaar deze dan op een
bij voorkeur donkere plek bij gematigde temperatuur. Vermijd direct zonlicht tijdens
opslag; dit verlengt de levensduur aanzienlijk.
Belangrijk:
•
Slecht passende gehoorbescherming vermindert het reducerend vermogen.
Raadpleeg de instructies voor een juiste pasvorm.

Hoewel de gehoorbeschermers worden aanbevolen ter bescherming tegen
schadelijke effecten van impulsgeluid is de SNR gebaseerd op de aanwe-
zigheid van constant geluid en is derhalve geen accurate indicator van de
bescherming tegen impulsgeluid. Contstante of regelmatige blootstelling aan
impulsgeluid kan ernstige gehoorschade tot gevolg hebben.
•
Vloeistoffen en andere stoffen die oplosmiddelen en/of alcohol bevatten kun-
nen het product negatief beïnvloeden. De gehoorbeschermer mag nooit in
vloeistof worden ondergedompeld.
•
Bij gebruik van beschermhoezen kunnen de akoestische eigenschappen van de
gehoorbeschermers afwijken.
•
De materialen waaruit dit product vervaardigd is, kunnen mogelijk een aller-
gische reactie veroorzaken.
Kelfort® earmuffs are tested and approved according to the European
Standard EN352-1:2002.
Usage:
Pull the earmuffs apart as shown in image 1 and 2. Place the earmuffs over
the ears, so that the cushions enclose the ears completely. Adjust the height of both
muffs while pressing the headband down so that they fit well and comfortable
(image 3). Make sure that the headband is places over the middle of the head and
connects to the head.
Important: For the best results, remove all hair, and other objects, from under the
cushions. The entire cushion surface should press firmly, but comfortably, against
your head.
Maintenance:
Maintenance of your earmuffs is very important; bad maintenance
can adversely affect lifespan. Routinely wash as necessary, with mild soap. The foam
inner liner should be allowed to air dry before reinserting into the cups. Do not expo-
se any parts to sources of artificial heat or to direct sunlight during drying. Regularly
inspect the earmuff for serviceability. Earmuffs, and in particular their cushions, may
deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for damage, crac-
king or other deformation. It is reccomended to replace the cushions every 6 months.
Disinfection:
For disinfection use 70% solution of propyl alcohol in water (“Rub-
bing Alcohol”) to wipe the earmuffs. Allow to dry naturally
Hygiene kit:
When replacing the set, it is recommended to clean the inside of the
hood with lukewarm water, soap and a soft cloth. Then dry the inside well before
assembling the set.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place before and after use, at modorate temperature.
Do not expose to direct sunlight, this can adversely affect lifespan.

Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise.
Consult the enclosed instructions for proper fit.

Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the
harmful effects of impulsive noise, the SNR is based on the attenuation of
continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection at-
tainable against impulsive noise. Constant or repetitive exposure to impulsive
noise may lead to serious injury, temporary or permanent deafness.

The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic perfor-
mance of the earmuffs.
•
Usage of covers may affect the acoustic characteristics.
•
These earmuffs are produced of materials wich can cause an allergic reaction.
