Verifying AC current 1 mA to 3 A ranges
Check AC current accuracy by applying accurate current from the AC current calibrator at specific
frequencies to the Series 3700A analog backplane connector and verifying that the displayed
readings fall within specified limits.
To verify AC current accuracy:
1. Set up the Series 3700A for AC current and the range being tested. Make sure relative offset is
disabled.
2. Source AC current for the 1 mA to 1 A range test points summarized in "AC current calibration
diagram" below. For each setting, be sure that the reading is within stated limits.
3. Install the Fluke 5725A amplifier.
4. Source AC current for the 3 A range test points summarized in the
AC current verification data 1
(on page B-13) table. Be sure that the 3 A readings are within stated limits.
