USB connectors 

The downstream USB-2.0 receptacle (Type B) located on the rear panel 
connects to a host. The front panel has an upstream USB-2.0 connector (Type 
A) that connects to a user supplied USB flash drive. 

Use the rear connector to communicate with the instrument over USB by 
sending the desired commands. Use the front panel connector to insert a USB 
flash drive for saving or loading reading buffers, user setups, or scripts. See the 
Reference Manual for more information on reading buffers, user setups and 
scripts.
