Magnetic coupling
Magnetic coupling between sense and current leads can also affect measurements.
Figure F-9A shows connections that will result in considerable coupling due to the rela-
tively long exposed signal lead area. Carrying the sense shields as close to the DUT as
possible (Figure F-9B) will reduce magnetic coupling and improve response. Twisting the
exposed sense leads and even the cables themselves may be necessary to reduce coupling
to an acceptable level.
