Contact check threshold resistance
The contact check threshold resistance level is the resistance value at which the contact check
operation indicates a failure. Contact check threshold resistance can be set to one of the following
values:
•
2
Ω
•
15
Ω
•
50
Ω
(default)
A contact check pass condition occurs when the resistance of the device under test (DUT) connection
paths is less than the selected threshold resistance value. The following table contains recommended
contact resistance threshold values.

You must enable contact check before setting the threshold resistance.
To set the contact check threshold resistance using SCPI commands, send one of the following:
•
:SYSTem:CCHeck:THReshold OHM2
•
:SYSTem:CCHeck:THReshold OHM15
•
:SYSTem:CCHeck:THReshold OHM50
To set the contact check threshold resistance using TSP commands, send one of the following:
•
smu.contact.threshold = smu.THRESHOLD_2_OHM
•
smu.contact.threshold = smu.THRESHOLD_15_OHM
•
smu.contact.threshold = smu.THRESHOLD_50_OHM
If you do not select a contact check threshold resistance before running the contact check, the last
threshold resistance level set is used. The threshold resistance level reverts to the default value after
resetting or power cycling the instrument.
