instrument chassis is connected to ground through the ground wi
re
.
In addition, there is a ground terminal for each channel on the rear panel. When a channel is
enabled, its ground terminal should be connected to a protective earth. In the event of a failure, not
using a properly grounded protective earth and grounded outlet may result in personal injury or death
due to electric shock.
Do not replace detachable mains supply cords with inadequately rated cords. Failure to use properly
rated cords may result in personal injury or death due to electric shock.
When using the model 2230G-30-6 or 2230G-60-3 in a country that is a member of the European
Union, you need to use the 2230G-HRM inductor box in line with the mains power cord to comply
with European Union regulations. If you use the inductor, the functions of the instrument are not
affected.
