Remote operation
Commands that use the
<n>
parameter can use the
MINimum
and
MAXimum
name parameters.
MIN
selects the minimum value and
MAX
selects the maximum value.
Use the following command to set AC bandwidth:
DETector:BANDwidth <n>
<n>
= 3
3 Hz setting
= 20
20 Hz setting
= 200
200 Hz setting
Use the following commands to set resolution:

Measurement resolution
The resolution setting range for
<resolution>
depends on the selected function and range. The
maximum value for AC measurement is 1.00e-04 x full-scale range, and the minimum value is
1.00e-06 x full-scale range.
For example, for ACV 750 V range, the minimum value is (1.00e-06 x 750 V = 7.50e-04). The
maximum value is (1.00e-04 x 750 V = 7.50e-02). Therefore,
<resolution>
= 7.50e-04 to 7.50e-
02 for the ACV 750 V range.
For example, for ACI 10 A range, the minimum value is (1.00e-06 x 10 A = 1.00e-05). The maximum
value is (1.00e-04 x 10 A = 1.00e-03). Therefore,
<resolution>
= 1.00e-05 to 1.00e-03 for the ACI
10A range.
Aperture and resolution for frequency and period measurements
For frequency and period measurements, aperture is analogous to integration time. The aperture
settings are 0.01 second (4½-digit resolution), 0.1 second (5½-digit resolution), or 1 second (5½-digit
resolution). The default aperture is 0.1 second (5½-digit resolution).
You can set display resolution for 4½-digit or 5½-digit resolution. Changing the display resolution may
change the aperture. Selecting 4½-digit resolution will set the aperture to 0.01 second. Selecting 5½-
digit resolution will set the aperture to 0.1 second.
Resolution cannot be set using remote programming.
