The AC mains connection on the ServoOne CM-L charging module for pre-charging the
DC link is on the connector LINE IN. The connector is located on the underside of the
device.

Mains connections, ServoOne CM-A and ServoOne CM-D
The connections LINE FILTER and SYNC are used for the AC mains connection of the
ServoOne CM-A and ServoOne CM-D.
The mains voltage (U, V, W) for the supply unit is connected via the mains choke, the
mains filter and LC filter to the LINE FILTER connection on the supply unit. +ZK is
connected to connZK on the LC filter.
The mains voltage (L1, L2, L3) for the mains synchronisation of the supply unit is
connected to the SYNC connection.
The temperature monitoring for the LC filter connected to the LINE FILTER connection is
connected to the terminal LC (Temp).
The connectors are located on the underside of the related device.
Mains filter, LC filter, mains choke
For separate interference suppression on the ServoOne CM system, an optimised mains
filter (13) from KEBA can be connected to the connection LINE Filter (L1, L2, L3) on
the supply unit. The supply current and the total motor cable length must be taken into
account on dimensioning the filter. You will find details on dimensioning the mains filter in
section "A.6 Mains filter".
An LC filter (14)
must
always be installed between the mains filter (13) and the
ServoOne CM-A or ServoOne CM-D (4).
Shielded cable must always be used for the connection of the mains filter (13) to the
LC filter (14) and the connection of the LC filter (14) to the supply unit (4).
The shields (11) on both cables are to be connected to the LC filter.
The shield connection rail can be used for both strain relief and the connection of the
shield on the LC filter (14) cable to the supply unit (4). At the device end, the shield
on this cable is connected to the shield connection rail. Shield connection rail and PE
connection are to be connected using an HF litz wire.
Good shielding of the connection on the mains filter and LC filter can be achieved by
mounting the mains filter and LC filter on a metal, conductive and well-grounded base
plate.
Note:
If the shield connection rail is not used for strain relief and the connection of
the shield on the cable, then it is to be ensured that strain relief is provided
and the shield connection made as per the regulations for effective EMC
installation.
