7.2 Manual Operation

The brake can be disengaged manually using the optional hand release lever.

CAUTION

Loss of Braking Torque!



Before using the hand release lever, mechanically secure the load

against unintended movements. Extra care should be given for

vertical applications i.e. lifts, cranes, winches.

To disengage the brake using the hand release lever, steadily pull the lever directly away

from the mounting surface until the brake is released, as shown below.
