9.2.2 check air gap
The brakes are delivered ex works with pre-set air gap "

(nominal air gap) ready for
installation. As a result of wear, the air gap increases. To ensure proper functioning, the
air gap (distance between magnet housing and armature) must be checked in regular
intervals in a de-energised state with feeler gauge. When exceeding the value "
