7.3.1 Automatic self-diagnosis
Start the automatic self-diagnosis test each time you turn on the unit by pressing
the "Power" button.

7.3.2 Vacuum test
Note
KaVo recommends performing the test at the start of every working day with the
unit cold unit (below 35°C) and in standby mode. Note that the test takes 16 mi‐
nutes. During the test phase, "Test" appears on the display. This text also appears
on the printout.
Requirement
"OFF" appears on the display.
▶ Press the B&D button to start the test.
The test will start automatically and lasts approximately 16 minutes.
After the end of the test, "Test Good" appears in the display.
7.3.3 Sterility tests
KaVo recommends the following sterility tests:
▪ Bowie&Dick test or Helix test daily
▪ Microbiological tests every six months or after 400 cycles
Note
You must follow the instructions and information provided by the manufacturer
when carrying out the above tests.

▶ Simultaneously press the B&D button and the Start/Stop button until the test
starts.
The test cycle starts.
