Carefully slide a new filter bag with plastic frame

properly affixed.
▶ Re-attach the cover and snap it into place and/or slide the filter drawer into
the support arm or system base up to the limit stop.
▶ Move the SMARTair back to its functional location.
7.2.3 Changing the adsorption filter (optional
accessory)
The adsorption filter is designed to adsorb various gaseous impurities in the air.
Note
The service life of the activated carbon filter is determined mainly by the
number of prostheses fabricated at a workstation. Based on 10 to 15 pros-
theses per workday and workstation, the filter service life is 30 to 50 work-
days.
Note
When the activated carbon filter is loaded with methylmethacrylate and other
chemical substances, it needs to be disposed of as "hazardous waste".

7.2.4 Changing the ultra-fine filter
Note
SMARTair Evo suction equipment may be operated only if an ultra-fine filter
is inserted.
Note
The ultra-fine filter must be changed every 2 years.
