6 Mechanical settings | 6.3 Set the brakes on the operating light head
▶ Take off cover ⑤.
▶ Use the adjusting screw ④ to set the smooth running of the rotary motion.
▶ Unlock the 3Dm joint movement on the regulating ring ②.
▶ Use the adjusting screw ③ to set the smooth running of the 3D joint motion.
▶ Snap the cover ⑤ into place.
6.3.2 Adjusting the light head brake
Note
The smooth running of the operating light head can be set using two brakes.
- Brake ⑦ is for the presetting and needn´t be adjusted in normal cases. To set the
brake ⑦, the cover ⑥ must be removed. The cover ⑥ is fastened with a snap lock
and can be removed without tools.
- Brake ① is used for the precision adjustment and can be set without the cover
having to be removed. The adjustment can be carried out by the medical staff.
Presetting
▶ Release cover ① and remove from the side.
▶ Pivot the light head completely downwards.
▶ Preset the cross slot adjustment screw ② with a screwdriver.
