4.3.3 Connecting the extraction hoses
Note
If the extractor unit has recessed extraction openings, ensure that the hose is the
optimum length, that it is not bent or under tension and that it glides smoothly on the
hose runner.
When fitting hoses for use in KaVo laboratory workstations or at KaVo extractor units
or support racks ①, choose those with a diameter of 42 mm.

▶ Screw in the (Ø 42 mm and Ø 50 mm) extraction hoses into the Ø 50/42 mm re‐
ducer.
▶ Cut the extraction hose to size: it must not sag or stretch when inserted in the ex‐
tractor unit.

▶ Fit the extraction hose ① ( Ø 50 mm) onto the connecting elbow ② and insert into
the extractor unit.
