3 Exchanging the spare turbine
CAUTION
Residues in the head or lid of the replacement turbine.
Malfunctions.
▶ Remove any residues of a defective replacement turbine, such as washers,
spring washers or other parts, from the head housing or lid.
Note
Change the replacement turbine only while the spray lid is attached.
Remove the lid
▶ Place the wrench on the cover of the turbine, making sure that the catches are
properly seated.
▶ Press the wrench toward the cover and unscrew the cover in counterclockwise
direction.
Take out the replacement turbine
▶ Use tweezers to push out and take out the replacement turbine from the front.
Remove the O-rings
▶ Remove the O-rings from the head housing and cover with tweezers.
Remove the spring washers
▶ Remove the spring washers form the head casing and cover using tweezers.
Clean
▶ Before installation of the new replacement turbine, thoroughly clean the head
housing and lid with a brush and tap water, and then dry them.
