The backrest moves

5.2.6 Safety shut-down

To prevent collisions during movements of the patient simulator, safety shutoff
switches are installed to protect people from injury and the product from dam-
age.

The safety shut-down is activated if the patient simulator collides with a person
or object while its height or backrest are being adjusted.
Once the safety shut-down is activated, the LED on the "SP" button on the
dentist unit starts to flash.

5.3 Using functions through the MEMOdent menu
(optional)

5.3.1 Standby menu

Standby menu as the standard setting

The devices starts in the Standby menu.
The unit automatically switches to the Standby menu when the Instrument
menu and Multimedia menu are closed.
