6 Servicing
WARNING

▶ The electrical part of the device may only be repaired and serviced by professio‐
nals or persons trained by KaVo who have been informed of the safety instruc‐
tions.
DANGER
Electrical shock from repairs of live parts.
Injury or death from electric shock.
▶ Before opening housing parts, pull the power plug and disconnect the unit com‐
pletely from the power connection so that the unit is without power.
6.1 Open and close the workplace light
You must open and close the workplace light to:
▪ Clean the protective panel and aluminium light grid
▪ Replace the compact fluorescent bulb
6.1.1 Open the workplace light
▶ Turn off the workplace light with the power switch 0 / I.
▶ Pull the power plug.
▶ Pull off the left end cover. To do this, the resistance of the snap hooks must be
overcome.
▶ Pull the aluminium light grid out from the side.
▶ Pull the protective panel out to the side.
6.1.2 Close the workplace light
▶ Insert the protective panel in the guides and push it into place.
